Gender Slavery
Kim Syng Hyun
Sex is commonly believed to be a biological fact of the body whereas
gender is a social construct. However, some believe sex is also a social construct
similar to gender. Others believe that gender is a biological fact, similar to sex.
There are a wide range of approaches to the definitions of gender and sex. I will be
using the concepts of Judith Butler, Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari who consider
both gender and sex to be social constructs.
